• I'M STILL HERE

  Hello everyone. Yes, I am still around. As for not updating this blog, while it is a combination of laziness and being too busy. Yes, lazy and busy in the same sentence can actually occur. While work is still work. I pulled an abdominal muscle last month and that really hurt. I passed my arms room inspection so that's good. For the most part I am content. Right now I am involved getting my unit's BOSS program in order, since nothing was done while I was deployed. But, I have to have an alternate, and he gets it typed up on his NCOER even though he isn't doing anything. So, nothing new there. I am getting used to the system of alternates doing crap but recieving the benefits. As long as I do my job and meet my goals then I'm happy. Anyway, this year is devoted to me and no one else. I am making me happy for a change.

  I keep getting bothered by others about the promotion board. Look, I got promoted in June '05 and was the company and bn soldier of year for '05. So, I think that entitiles me to go to the board on my terms. When my paperwork is up to date and I am sure everything is correct then I'll go. When I see those that have yet to participate in a board go to the board, then I'll go. Until then everyone can just bite me. I have another year left here, so believe me I'll go, but I'm not going to rush into it.

  Oh, the smoking thing. Okay, check this I don't drink. Now do you think I bother others about the hazards of drinking? No, of course not. So, why do people find it neccessary to bother me about smoking? I don't smoke around others and I am very conservative with it, so do me a favor and let me alone. I know about the lung cancer and early death things about smoking as people who drink know about the dangers of liver damage and driving under the influence. Words to remember: I can smoke all I want and still drive safely. Can you say the same about drinking?

  Finally, can we all work together to get that non-talented sap Sanjaya Malakar voted off AI? I'm sick of seeing him and his hair!!!!

  Yes, this turned out to be a vent. Just thought I'd share.
