Time. What is time? When I was a child I was taught it was something that everyone had but as a person gets older it grows shorter. I couldn't grasp that concept until work came into play and now all I want is time. Time to do things other than work or worry about work or hear about work. I know some of you are saying that I get weekends off so there's my time, alas the life of soldier doesn't halt on weekends. We still have to behave ourselves and watch what we do so we won't be injured, overweight, jailed, or hung-over come Monday morning. Sixteen more years to go and then I'll have all the time I want.
That's another thing with time, when you get old you get it back but unfortunately don't know what to do with it. So, I've come up with my own campaign. Anyone sixty-five or older can donate their time to us deprived of time and then we all can be happy. It could be called the "Time for Work Switch".
"If I could turn back time. If I could find a way. I would find more of it and play."

i'm confused... 16 more years until you have the time you want? do you mean you're enlisted for 16 more years? wow... if so, that's a REALLY long time... i hope you find some time to just relax... you deserve it!

oh yeah... how have you adjusted to the time difference in germany? i know when i went to see my mom in florida it was 1 hour behind where i live and that drove me insane... i can't imagine it being like 7 hours ahead of the time i'm used to... yeesh!
Only one problem with your idea Jen,
Yea when you get older you have all this time one one thing, you just don't feel good enought to do anything with it, Their are days when I can't even get out of bed, and when you do you just can't waite till you can go back to bed again. Getting older really sucks, take it from one who knows, that is why when I told you to enjoy your time when your in school that is the only time when you get all them days off and to enjoy thoses days that you will miss them when you get older, so I guess I was wright HU?
