  • Childhood Memory

Yes, being twenty-three I have plenty of childhood memories and some are very humorous.   My mother will kill me if she reads this but it will be worth it.  I love you mom(God help me!!!).

Those of you who are reading my blogs for the first time my mother and I are very close.  She’s the most awesome person in the world and a very hip mom.  She’s down with the latest fashion trends and loves to have fun no matter what.

This memory takes place in Lingernoir PA at Idlewild Park.  My brother and I were about four and five years of age and we were at the “Jump and Jungle.”  The “Jump and Jungle” was a huge rope swing a person hopped on and swung over a clearing to the other side.   Dad swung and made it.  I swung and made it.  Jason swung and made it.  Mom swung….  The doctor told her that her ankle injury off the “Jump and Jungle” was something he commonly saw in children and not adults.  The family just laughed it off and mom limped but at least her ankle wasn’t broken.

    I love you mom.

    God bless and take care,

    Jen
